Recently, the Union Public Service Commission released the results for UPSC CSE Exams 2023 on the 16th of April, 2024. The second women topper in recently declared  CSE results is Srishti Dabas. She had scored 1048  Marks. Her hard work and efforts paid off with this outcome as she secured the 6th Rank in the UPSC CSE 2023 Examination on her maiden  attempt.

 

Who is Srishti Dabas:

Srishti, currently working with the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai, had earlier contributed to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Born in the year 1998 in Rani Khera, North-West Delhi, India, Srishti Dabas belonged to a family that actively supported her dreams of becoming an IAS officer. She has had a keen interest in academics since childhood. Srishti completed her 10 th from Ganga International School with great marks. She completed and aced her 12th exams with 96% and then went ahead to complete her graduation from Delhi University. After that, she started pursuing M.A. in political science from IGNOU while pursuing preparing for UPSC Civil Services Exam simultaneously. Srishti Dabas has successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam with flying colours in her 1st attempt with an AIR 6.

 

SHRISHTI’S UPSC JOURNEY, PREPARATION AND SUCCESS

Shrishti Dabas shared the as a working professional her method of preparation required immense dedication and hard work. Besides her job as an RBI professional, she has to manage her schedule carefully. After starting with her Master’s degree in Political Science under IGNOU, she simultaneously began preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam around September – October 2022. During the day, she worked and studied at night as well as on weekends. Her talent, resilience, hardworking spirit and dedication is a primary source of inspiration for all the UPSC aspirants.

 

What motivated Srishti to become an IAS Officer:

Despite her challenging role in the HR department at Reserve Bank of India, Srishti embarked on the journey of UPSC preparation while balancing her professional commitments. Her aspiration to serve as a civil servant fueled his determination, leading her to devote his evenings to intensive study sessions along with his daytime responsibilities. Her journey towards this achievement starts from her college days, where she studied diligently along with work. Through unwavering dedication and perseverance, she has triumphed in the examination and moved closer to the pinnacle of her aspirations.
