Samsung Galaxy F62 Back Cover Guide 2026: Protecting India's Battery Champion

When the Samsung Galaxy F62 launched in 2021, it made headlines for one standout feature: a massive 7,000mAh battery paired with a flagship-grade Exynos 9825 chipset and a vibrant 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, all sold exclusively online at a genuinely competitive price. Years later, the F62 remains a favourite among users who prize battery life above almost everything else — and plenty are still using theirs daily in 2026.

If you're one of them and shopping for a new back cover this year, here's what's worth knowing.

Why This Phone's Design Calls for Thoughtful Protection

The Galaxy F62's large battery means a correspondingly larger, heavier phone body — which changes how it behaves when dropped compared to lighter devices. More mass means more force on impact, making corner reinforcement and a raised camera bezel genuinely more important than they might be on a smaller, lighter phone.

The Super AMOLED display, while durable in normal use, is still vulnerable to cracking from a flat drop without at least a slightly raised screen lip around the case's front edge.

What to Look for in an F62 Case

Hybrid construction remains the sensible standard — a hard, printed polycarbonate shell combined with a soft TPU edge offers the best balance of a distinctive design and genuine shock absorption at the corners.

Camera cutout precision matters. The F62's rear camera module is a distinctive rectangular housing with a quad-lens arrangement, different from many other Samsung models. A generic "Samsung Galaxy" case not built for this exact model can leave a poorly aligned cutout.

Given the phone's weight and size, a textured or matte-finish grip is worth prioritizing over a smooth, glossy one, simply because a heavier phone is statistically more likely to slip.

Where to Shop for F62 Covers

Design Categories Worth Exploring

• Devotional and spiritual art — a consistently popular category across virtually every Samsung model sold in India.

• Bold, saturated colour designs — a natural pairing for the F62's vibrant Super AMOLED panel, which tends to make bright, high-contrast prints look particularly striking.

• Nature and travel-inspired prints — a dependable, broadly appealing choice.

• Motivational and text-based designs — simple, low-effort personalization.

Basic Care Tips

Clean printed cases with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth rather than alcohol-based wipes, and periodically check for dust buildup around the charging port — a detail that's easy to overlook on a phone this size, where the port sits at the base of a fairly large chassis.

The Bottom Line

The Samsung Galaxy F62 remains a genuinely capable phone years after launch, particularly for anyone who values battery life above nearly everything else. Given the phone's larger size and weight, investing in a properly fitted, well-cushioned case is arguably even more worthwhile here than on a smaller device — and with a wide range of designs typically priced around ₹299, there's little reason to settle for anything less.
