Glenn Maxwell First Wife: Was He Married Before Vini Raman?

Glenn Maxwell is one of Australia's best-known modern white-ball cricketers, with a career spanning international cricket and major franchise leagues including the IPL. Because of his popularity in India and his highly publicized relationship with Vini Raman, searches for “Glenn Maxwell first wife” are common.

The key point is that available reliable reports document Vini Raman as Glenn Maxwell's wife, and there is no reliable evidence in the sources reviewed of an earlier marriage. Some confusion may come from Maxwell's relationship history being discussed separately from his marriage history.

Maxwell and Raman had been together for several years before their engagement in 2020 and married in 2022. They have since welcomed children into their family.

Who Is Glenn Maxwell?

Glenn James Maxwell is an Australian cricketer born on October 14, 1988. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler who became particularly prominent in limited-overs cricket. ESPNcricinfo lists his international career across Tests, ODIs and T20Is, while he has also played extensively in domestic and franchise T20 competitions.

Maxwell has been especially popular among Indian cricket fans because of his long association with the Indian Premier League (IPL). His ability to hit sixes, bowl useful off-spin and contribute in the field has made him a prominent all-rounder in T20 cricket.

He was also part of Australia's 2015 World Cup-winning squad and later became one of the country's most recognizable white-ball players. His IPL career further increased his profile among Indian audiences.
