FebriDx Test Results

Many people think the FebriDx test can tell them the exact virus or bacteria causing their illness, but that is not how the test works. FebriDx looks for two immune response markers in a small finger-prick blood sample. These markers help healthcare professionals determine whether an infection is more likely to be viral or bacterial. The test does not identify the specific germ responsible for the illness. Understanding this difference is important because it helps avoid confusion and supports better treatment decisions.

When used along with a patient's symptoms and medical evaluation, FebriDx provides valuable information that can help healthcare providers decide on the most appropriate next steps in patient care.
