Antryk vs WATI: Flat Per-Number Pricing vs Per-Seat Plans

WhatsApp tools bill in two very different ways: by the seat, or by the connected number. Which is cheaper depends on how many people answer customers and how many WhatsApp numbers you run.

WATI, a widely used WhatsApp team inbox and automation tool, sells tiered plans that cap the users included and charge extra for more seats. Antryk takes the opposite approach: a flat $10 per month for each connected WhatsApp Business number, with every feature included and no per-user fee.

This post compares the two on pricing, features and fit, so you can pick the model that matches how your team actually works. WATI figures are as of October 2026 and change often, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

At a Glance

Antryk costs a flat $10 per month per number, while WATI starts at $59 per month and rises with team size.

Antryk figures come from its WhatsApp pricing page. WATI figures come from WATI's pricing page as reported by eesel on October 26, 2026, and WATI's own plans overview. Sources disagree on extra-seat prices, so they are shown as ranges.

How WATI Prices WhatsApp

WATI charges a monthly plan fee that includes a fixed number of users, then adds per-seat fees and per-message costs on top.

  • Growth: $59/month billed yearly ($69 monthly). Includes 3 users, and extra users are not allowed.
  • Pro: $119/month billed yearly ($149 monthly). Includes 5 users, with extra seats at $24 to $39 each per month depending on the source.
  • Business: priced on request on the US page, and listed at $279/month billed yearly in late September. Includes 5 users, with extra seats at $69 to $89 each per month.

Messages are billed separately from a prepaid wallet. On WATI's October 2026 rate card, a US marketing message costs $0.040 against Meta's $0.025 list rate, about 1.6 times higher. Additional WhatsApp numbers are $29/month each on Pro, and WATI's Astra AI agent starts at $99/month.

The fourth team member is where the model bites. Growth cannot add seats, so a fourth agent forces an upgrade to Pro.

How Antryk Prices WhatsApp

Antryk charges $10 per month for each connected WhatsApp Business number, with every listed feature included.

  • What the $10 covers: the send-message API (text, templates, media), real-time webhooks, media auto-download, a unified inbox, delivery status tracking and webhook delivery logs.
  • No tiers: there are no plan levels to climb, and the pricing page lists no per-user fee.
  • More numbers: add one plan per number. All connections show in one dashboard with one invoice.
  • Trying it: a $10 free credit is included, and no credit card is needed to start.

Antryk notes that separate Meta charges may apply, depending on Meta's rules. The product is built around the API, webhooks and a chat tracker, so it suits teams that want WhatsApp inside their own backend. The pricing page does not list a chatbot builder or campaign tool. Details are on the Antryk WhatsApp pricing page.

What It Costs as Your Team Grows

On platform fees alone, Antryk stays at $10 per number as the team grows, while WATI steps up with each tier and seat.

Setup

Antryk (per month)

WATI (per month, billed yearly)

3 agents, 1 number

$59 (Growth)

5 agents, 1 number

$119 (Pro)

10 agents, 1 number

$10

$239 to $314 (Pro plus 5 extra seats)

5 agents, 3 numbers

$30

$177 (Pro plus 2 extra numbers)

Three caveats apply. These are platform fees only, so Meta's message charges come on top for both, and WATI adds its own rate on messages. WATI's extra-seat price varies by source, hence the range. And WATI's fee includes tools such as chatbots, broadcasts and integrations that Antryk's pricing page does not list, so the two are not like-for-like on features.

Beyond Price: What Each Tool Is Built For

Antryk is an API-first connection layer, while WATI is a team inbox and automation suite.

  • Coexistence: Antryk lets the WhatsApp Business app and the API run on the same number, and messages sent from the app also reach your webhook and chat tracker. If your team relies on the app, ask any provider whether it supports this before you buy.
  • Webhooks and logs: Antryk signs webhook callbacks with HMAC and logs each delivery with its status code and retry count, so you can replay failures.

WATI gates API and webhook access by plan. Growth allows 10,000 API calls a month with no webhooks, Pro allows 200,000 with limited webhooks, and Business allows 20 million with extensive webhooks. In exchange, WATI bundles broadcasts, no-code chatbots, team routing and integrations such as HubSpot on Pro and Salesforce on Business, which Antryk leaves to your own code.

Antryk also states that it is an official Meta Business Solution Provider, so numbers connect through the official WhatsApp Business Platform and are eligible for green tick verification.

Which One Should You Pick?

Pick the model that matches how your team works: seats and ready-made tools, or numbers and an API.

Choose Antryk if:

  • Your backend needs to send and receive WhatsApp messages through an API and webhooks.
  • Many people will handle conversations and you would rather not pay per seat.
  • You want to keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the same number.

Choose WATI if:

  • You want a ready-made team inbox with broadcasts and no-code chatbots.
  • Your team is three to five people and rarely grows.
  • You rely on built-in integrations such as Shopify or HubSpot.

Per-number pricing wins when the team is large or the use case is programmatic. Per-seat pricing with bundled tools wins for small teams that want a no-code setup.
