Airbag Light Stuck on – Need Someone Who Won't Cut Corners
Certified airbag repair and replacement in ICAD
So my 2016 Lexus has had this annoying airbag warning light on the dash for about a week now, and it's honestly making me nervous every time I drive because I have no idea if the system would actually work in an emergency or if I'm just driving around with a false sense of security. I've read enough horror stories online about people who ignored warning lights and then regretted it, so I definitely want to get this sorted properly rather than just hoping it goes away on its own. The thing is, I've heard that airbag work can be really sensitive and if you don't know what you're doing, you could end up with a system that's even more dangerous than before, or you could accidentally trigger the airbags during the repair which would be a complete disaster. I definitely don't trust some random garage to mess around with this stuff because it's not like changing brake pads or doing an oil change where the stakes are lower. I've been asking around and a few people have mentioned that the ICAD area has some decent specialist workshops that handle safety systems, but nobody could give me a concrete recommendation. I really need to find a place that uses proper diagnostic tools and knows how to reset the system correctly without just clearing the code and sending me on my way. A colleague told me about certified airbag repair and replacement in ICAD that he'd heard good things about, but he couldn't remember the specific name. Has anyone actually had airbag work done in that area and can vouch for a place that takes this stuff seriously? I don't want to mess around with safety.
