What is Group-II A Selection Process and Eligibility

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts Group-II A examinations for Non-Interview roles, including positions like Personal Clerk, Assistant, and Assistant Section Officers (ASOs) in various government departments.

I.Steps/Stages in Selection Process Group-II A:

The selection process is of two stages:

Preliminary Exam:

·       1. It’s an objective-type paper with multiple-choice questions.

·       2. The exam is for 300 marks in total, and the minimum passing score is:

·       Minimum marks: (90/300) marks.

Main Exam:

The main exam consists of two papers:
    -Paper-I: English/Tamil (40/100) marks.

    -Paper II: General Studies (90/300) marks.
