150 Paying Clients in Two Months, Zero Funding: Building an AI Search Optimization Platform

Two months after launch, MyZia - an AI Search Optimization platform built from Gurgaon, India - had more than 150 paying clients and $5,000 in monthly revenue. No venture funding, no growth team, no paid pilot program. Here is what building that looked like.

The Problem We Kept Seeing

MyZia comes from WEB5 NEXGEN INNOVATIONS, a digital agency I founded (incorporated June 2024, DPIIT-recognized as a startup in India). Running the agency, we watched client after client rank fine on Google while staying completely invisible when buyers asked ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation. Around 60% of searches now end without a click - the answer is consumed inside the AI response itself. Traditional SEO tooling was built for blue links; nothing productized the new problem for a small business.

So we built the diagnostic first: a free 45-second scan (myzia.io, no signup) that checks how 16 AI models talk about a business across more than 40 signals. Twelve thousand scans later, that scanner is still the front door - it turns an abstract worry into a concrete gap a business owner can see.

What the Product Does

MyZia closes the loop the scan opens. It identifies the questions buyers ask AI assistants in the client's market, finds where competitors get cited instead, then writes optimized blog posts and auto-publishes them directly to the client's website on a schedule. The client never touches a CMS. Pricing is public: $79/month Growth (first month $29) and $249/month Agency, with a 7-day free trial, plus a white-label offering for agencies.

The Hardest Part Was Not Demand

Demand showed up fast - the hardest problem was infrastructure. Auto-publishing reliably across dozens of different CMSes, at content quality we are not embarrassed by, is an engineering grind that never really ends. That is where most of the revenue goes: funding our own feature development. We are open to strategic investors in martech, but we are not raising out of need.

What Worked for Early Traction

  1. A genuinely free, genuinely instant diagnostic. The 45-second scan is the pitch - no demo call, no email gate.
  2. A narrow wedge. We only do AI Search Optimization (AEO/GEO). Not "digital marketing." One problem, solved end to end.
  3. Pricing with no negotiation. Fixed plans, published on the site, trial included. It filters for buyers who have the problem now.

What Is Next

The roadmap is automated technical fixes (schema and site structure), dynamic service-page creation, and a multi-conversion-goal analytics dashboard - positioning MyZia as a hands-free optimization operating system that replaces an in-house technical SEO team for SMBs.

If you want to see how visible your own business is to AI models right now, the free scan is at myzia.io. It takes 45 seconds.
