Let’s Configure The Router
Very few steps are needed to complete the configuration process of the router which are not just simple but can be done in no time if performed attentively.
Device Connection
This is the first and foremost step to begin the installation procedure. You can do it in three ways.
-
Wired Connection - You are going to need an ethernet cable for this method. Take the cable and attach one side to the router and the other to the computer. This is the most effective way that rarely shows error so the connection will be successful unless the cable is damaged.
-
Wireless Connection - Plug in the router and switch it on. The LED light will turn on. Now go to the WiFi settings of your system and search for the available devices. Select the name of your router and give it some moments to connect.
-
WPS - This is a button on your router at the back or on the side. WPS will be written under it or two arrows forming a circle will be shown on the button. Press it for a few seconds. Go to the settings of the system you are using and tap WiFi. Search for the SSID of your network and instead of entering the password look for the WPS option. Click on it and your system will be connected to the router.
Use any browser and type the web or IP address of your router brand in the search window. A setup page will show up. Click on the login option. Enter your SSID and password that you must have collected by now. Tap sign in and the login will be done in a few seconds.
Mobile Login
If you find the above-mentioned method difficult then you can log in via mobile phone. Download the app and click on the login interface. Enter your login credentials and click on Sign in.
