According to data from other research carried out by the American Association for Cancer Research, #hempderivedterpenes from cannabis helps considerably to counteract the reproduction of brain, prostate, lung and breast cancers
According to expert researchers at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, cannabis is able to block the reproduction of cancer and the formation of metastases in many cancers, thus decreasing the mortality rate.
“We discovered the effectiveness of Cannabidiol on many types of aggressive tumors – said Desprez, one of the scientists – such as those in the brain and prostate for example, and it is still effective in all types of tumor with high levels of ID-1”.
In short, what emerged, in particular, is that CBD – or cannabidiol extracted from hemp and available in the form of oil in drops – would work as a real switch, able to turn off the ID-1 gene, responsible for the multiplication of metastases. On animals this study has given positive and encouraging results, therefore we are waiting for research and experimentation to take place on humans as well.
